The wrapping and the residue of the frozen foods left frost which melted and created a slipping hazard.

A local restaurant owner was shopping at a major discount retailer to obtain necessary food supplies when she walked past an empty pallet.  The pallet had been utilized by the retailer’s porters earlier to stock frozen foods.  The wrapping and the residue of the frozen foods left frost which melted and created a slipping hazard.  We proved after discovery that the employees who left the pallet on the floor was a violation of their own policies and procedures.  The restaurant owner suffered a knee injury requiring surgical correction.  We obtained a settlement of $200,000.00.
